Hi people, I just want to promote a new app I created in the company where I work, it is a Fish Identification Charts app, its created by divers and for divers:

Available both for Android and iOS, Promotional price $0.99 each chart, containing a complete
easy to identify and hi-res fish and other animals drawings in the region

Play Store (ANDROID)

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webstreaming.reef

Appstore (APPLE):
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/scuba-fic/id900580134?ls=1&mt=8

currently available regions:
- Cozumel, Belize And Honduras
- Florida
- Bahamas
- Cayman Islands
- Bonaire
- The Mediterranean

We are working in adding new regions right now!
Thank you and I hope you find it interesting!

Nice start. I took a look at the one for Bonaire. I'd like it better if there were some ID clues on each critter...like the markings on a Graysby (which you can't even see in your picture). It's probably OK as a substitute for a plastic card (although not waterproof!), but not OK if one is actually doing any fish ID. Even just adding sizes would be very helpful; for example the Creole Wrasse (you've spelled it wrong) and the Fairy Basslet might get confused....but not if you include the size. The jawfish you show is not the one commonly seen in Bonaire; in fact, I think the one show is only found in the Pacific.

Hi Tursiops, thank you very much for the info! We are currently working on the app adding new critters to the charts and other future functionalities, also working in a description for the critters too. The intention is the use of the charts as a recreational tool to help you know the name of the critters you can see uderwater

Of course any comment and suggestion is welcome!
Thank you!

Now all you need is an enclosure to take your iPad underwater with you.

Interesting. . .

Do you have a list of the 25 areas you plan to support?

Tursiops, this reply might be a little too late but just wanted to give you an update regarding your comments. We have added common critter size and depth as well as the scientific classification. You can download the new updated version of the app and download the region again with all new data!

Enjoy!!
