Do you have one of these you are prepared to share?

I was a bit surprised that a search of the site didnt bring one up. I used to have a comprehensive list years ago but after using the same rig for years I sort of let it go.

Having recently moved to digital I find that the bits and pieces needed are different to what I am used to ie just bought a netbook to load images on.

Any of you well organised divers have a list that I can crib from?

Maybe if the end result is worthwhile the site might consider pinning it for others to use.

Not totally comprehensive but
2 Camera bodies (Canon 5D)
Housing, handles, eyepiece (don't forget the housing adapter I did once)
Ports, port extensions
Lenses and lens focus rings
Lens cleaning cloth
Towel for drying after a dive
3 strobes
3 sync cords
ULCS bits and pieces (put it together before you go)
Focus light
AA Batteries and chargers and power cords (shortened to 1 foot long)
Power strip (rated for 240 V)
Spares kit (all o-rings, screws)
Tools (complete english and metric hex keys, screwdrivers wrenches)
2 strap wrenches
Camera batteries and charger
Lubes for o-rings (several types in my case stored in contact lens cases and labeled)
Camera instructions (PDF on computer)
CF cards (4 x 8 gb)
Laptop (MacBook)
Firewire card reader
Mouse
2 external 500 gb hard drives (one Vosonic with display)
Battery tester
Soldering iron and solder (if more than 1 week from home)

There are probably other bits in my box but that is most of them. I always take a picture of the camera box before I leave and print it out and leave it in the box because going home I never seem to be able to fit my stuff in the box it came in.

Hi Bill that is a great start and already I realise that I am missing a couple of things. Soldering iron? I think you are extremely well prepared. The PDF Camera instructions is a great idea.

I have only used the soldering iron once (to fix a friend's camera) but I needed it at least 2 times that I didn't have it so it goes along.
Bill
