For those like me who feel dizzy when told what a strobe costs these days.

http://snapsights.com/products_externalflash.html Found this at my LDS. $150.00 for the strobe, housing, arm and tray. Works great with my C5050 in the Olympus housing. No fiber needed. It may not take as good a picture as a professional strobe ( I wouldn't know, I don't own one) but it beats the hell out of no strobe at all. I can only say that it did wonders for my photography. Also, I had the strobe down to 103' in a spring near me. no leaks to report.

One negative is the short flexable arm!? I think a 19 inch arm would be much better, but as a DIY guy I think i can put one together that will work.

arrrrrrrr, matey. Thanks for the info!!

Or you could add more sections to the arm. That looks like it might be loc-line tubing (hard to tell from the photo), if it is, you can get it here cheap: www.modularhose.com

If the arm pieces are not readily available, pop them an email. I've dove with the guy when he tests his cameras...pretty open guy.
