Where might i find a cheaper reg? (besides eBay)

Shane

What exactly do you mean cheaper?
Are you looking for great buys on good regs or just a cheap reg?
www.Scubatoys.com has good prices as does Leisure pro.

IST Sports makes a decent cheap regulator and they can be bought from JoeDiversAmerica.com or you could buy mine.

ST or www.divesports.com for new regs at reasonable prices. Hard to beat ebay for selection and price on used regs. Always a little gamble there but I find it well worth it. Or check LDS when they get ready to rotate training stock.

Just something a littler less exspensve...A ton of them i seen where like $180+ and i was really to interested in spending that much...I figured a reg would be a lot cheaper...I always thought a tank would be one of the most or if not most exspensive thing i would have to buy!

Take my advice, I purchased a cheap reg first and then bought a better reg when I realized my error. If you plan on diving alot then get a good reg first off. Make sure its servicable locally. My cheap reg, although it breaths nice, is a mail order service and will cost me as much as the reg to service.

A good reg doesn't have to break the bank.
Call and talk to the guys at Scubatoys. They are great to work with.

So, how many times do you want to buy your reg? Lots of people save money initially on their reg - then find out that it's a piece of junk, get an outrageous annual serivce repair bill, and then buy what they shold have bought in the first place.
Or sometimes, they buy the right rig in the first place and skip all the interim nonsense.
Lots of people are happy with cheap regs they get off eBay or buying from the bottle of the retail bin, so feel free to make your own final decision. For the record though, in over 4 decades of diving, I have never owned a Scubapro regulator even when I could get them at wholesale from the distributor.

Call ScubaToys and talk to Larry. If your looking for a good cheap regulator you really can't beat the Aeris A1. I've got two of them, one for my son and one for myself. I recently bought a Delta 3/DX4 for my wife and I honestly like the A1 better.

salvos are $250 for a first, second, and hose of your choice...that's a din first, too.

In your case I would stay off eBay at this point. You can get good deals there but you really need to know what you're doing.

There are ways to save money, but basically diving is not cheap.
