Hi All,
I am going to be doing my AOW in the Cape Ann area at the end of June. Since I will be diving for 3 straight days (Fri-Sun).:D I am looking for some cheap lodgings in the area. I am not looking for alot of frills just a bed and TV would be nice.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dave

Anything right in CA will be more expensive but to be honest, the place as a whole is not that bad. It's not like you're going to be paying Cape Cod prices. That said, if you have a car, you could save a few bucks by staying a little south on Rt.128 around Danvers. You can find all the usual suspects there (Holiday Inn Express, Hampton etc.) and still only be 20 minutes away. There's also a really good dive shop (Atlantic Divers) near by if you need fills or anything.

As far as CA, there's the Cape Ann Motor Inn and Captain's Lodge that are both pretty basic. If I remember correctly, Captain's is very close to Front / Back Beach where you are likely to be doing some of your work. There are others if you poke around.

I second Captain's Lodge. It's the only one I've tried though. It WAS cheap.
