I am starting my own company that makes cheap backplates out of recycled soda cans. We just hammer the cans down until they are in shape. Pretty cool.











Okay...I lied. But it would be a pretty sweet idea.

I have both Stainless steel an aluminum back plates. The aluminum works great and have had no problems with using it. The cost of the aluminum is only a fraction of the cost and lighter to travel with. OMS sells aluminum backplates. Try Brian Giles in Cebu, I believe he is the distributor of OMS in the Philippines.
