coz it is already supporting raw & full manual functions out of the box only DoF not there - which I personally don't need.

I think high speed sync can create more shot Bcoz in compact minimum aperture only 8 sync flash at 1/ 500 th some shot not enough.

Just for the record, G7 also support full manual both with and without the CHDK hack. Im using it both with and without CHDK. Theres a button you hold down to emulate the wheel function you normally use, so it also works in full manual with underwater housing..
