It's a year after the fact, but I finally posted my first-ever dive video to YouTube, and it's here for your enjoyment and commentary:
Chasing Angels in Bonaire - YouTube
I shot it with my then-new GoPro Hero HD. No filters, and only natural lighting. I edited it on Final Cut Express, learning by doing. It ain't James Cameron, but I remain amazed at how good that little GoPro can be.
The experience really hooked me. At the time (July 2011) I hadn't been diving in 11 years. But diving with Bruce Bowker's Caribe Inn was such a terrific experience, that I took four more dive trips over the next 12 months; bought a better camera; took photo lessons; and am a much happier (and wetter) human. Looking forward to returning to Bonaire, too.
