I've heard recent reports that the dive conditions off the Channel Islands are warm water with low viz. Have any of you been out there the last few days with news of improvement? I'm a week away from my trip and hoping there is.
Thanks,
JAW

I dove the Grace oil rig, about 1 hour west of Ventura, yesterday. Viz was no more than 10 feet, until about 45, then opened up to about 50 feet. Water temp at the surface was 71, and the thermocline hit at 50 feet, 50 degrees.......but still a great dive!!!!!

I heard from the captain that Anacapa has 10 foot viz yesterday.
