I'm planning on diving the Channel Islands in the beginning of August, and was wondering if any of you have been there recently. Any interesting dive reports?
Thanks
JAW

I dived Catalina on July 2, and had a wonderful time.

30+ ft. vis,saw three 6' Black Sea Bass...in addition to quite a few other kinds of unidentified fish.

I do a liveaboard to the Southern Channel Isl (Catalina and San Celmente) at the end of this month, and hope it is at least as good as the two boat dives I did in Catalina.

Are you going on a day trip? A liveaboard?

I'm going to be on the Truth boat Conception, from Aug 3-6 to the southern islands. If that's the boat you're on, look me up!

I was on this same trip with them last year; a GREAT boat and crew.

I havn't dived on the Truth, but, if the crew is anything like Conception, you'll have a great time. They run a class operation.
