Question to the DIR people:

My friends and I do most of our diving in the CA channel islands.

17-25 fsw, high surge, usually for lobsters. One of us uses a dry suit.

Is there a particular gear configuration that you would recommend for streamlining with minimal complications?

Any input is appreciated.

If you're diving in kelp at that depth, put some spring straps on your fins - eliminating the loose fin strap ends will put an end to getting your fins hooked up on kelp behind you.

Are you just freediving? Lobsters happen below 25'...
