Kamusta,
You can mount a Air 2 on the inflator but not a pull dump.... I tried it on my 27# just to try out the BC. This was just a temp thing since I'm trying to get DIR compliant.

Hehehehe... I know... Halcyon dealer was like "Noooooooooo!!!!" hahahaha.

I know it's not DIR. Whether I use a real octo or not though, I'd like to have a combo inflator as well... it's back-up for the octo as well.

The standard inflator works fine as a third backup. Press both buttons at the same time and breath it. You'll be breathing tank air, not BC air.

Like this?

I'm still waitign on my second reg for my necklace..... this at least let's me dive in the meanwhile...

OOoo... ya... that's kinda what I wanna do. :P I see you used a plastic tie to connect it to the corrugated hose... why didn't you use the black screw-in clamp that came with the original Halcyon inflator? But ya... I want an Air2 or an Apeks Octo+

Screw in clamp??? hehehe didn't even know about that ... I got the BC off of ebay. I should have just bought it new but this works as well. With the bungee there though it makes raising the inflator harder. But then again I think Seajay said somthing about just letting the water pressure equalize the bladder. Then there's also the rear dump which is easier if you are head down a little bit
