Your best option is to send it in to Suunto. Years ago I used to have a Stinger and it is not battery user friendly.

Augusto: We specialize in changing batteries on all dive computers brands and models. Suunto is one brand we service more often and I concur with Shurite7 that the Stinger is not precisely battery user-friendly. We offer fast turnaround and very reasonable prices (that includes pressure testing in water to 165 feet). Check our website at www.divewatchdoctor.com and/or write to us at service@divewatchdoctor.com. We are located in Fort Lauderdale.
