Well this chamber ride has to be more fun than a prostrate exam right?

Be careful here. Some computers are damaged if exposed to "dry pressure" My Explorer requires me to put it in water before submerging it.

so put the computer in a tuperware bowl of water, then put in chamber. Shouldn't
damage it that way.

you can always put a lid on the tuperware in case it gets knocked over or something, but you'll need to vent it somehow otherwise the pressure change would be off.

i have to wear all cotton...no makeup, hair products, etc.....

I would guess this would be for safety reasons. especially if they are
pumping in any kind of oxygen in additional to air. makeup and hair
products could be more flameable and cotton won't melt like nylon will.
I'm sure that's normal operating procedure.

For fun, take some marshmellows or styrofoam peanuts with you in there.
watch them comrpess. or after they seal the hatch blow up a balloon
about half way and watch it compress. Of course ask your chamber
operator about all these, but I'm sure they've done all these before.
A 20oz coke bottle that is empty is interesting to watch also.

I have those items at home with me now....i'll bring them along and ask!

Thanks!

A prostrate exam is usually no big deal, as it just means you are examined while lying down. Now a prostate exam is something else entirely.

I stand corrected and yes, I was standing and no, I didn't enjoy it.

I just had to take a chamber ride for a Navy dive physical. There were three of us in the chamber including a medical dive officer. We didnt wear O2 masks and we could talk to each other. Its pretty funny how you sound at 60fsw. Kind of like helium but with a differnt pitch.

Or are you taping this to watch later and laugh at me with a group of medical professionals.
Well no one wants to see a video of me with my pants around my knees bent over a table screaming for mercy all the time knowing that the doctor was trained by Hitlers henchmen.
