​ We took a HUUUUGE leap over the weekend and are now approaching $30,000 in the Challenge. (We have also corrected the misspelling of Mark Stabb's name.) This huge leap forward was made possible through the continued generosity and community support of the divers who comprise the Antelope Valley Desert Divers (aka AVDD) who have again this year come through for our Chamber with a fabulous donation of $10,000. This makes them our first Diamond-level donor this year, and marks the third year in a row that they’ve contributed at this level. The contribution was officially made Saturday night at their annual banquet in Palmdale. Their snazzily-dressed Board of Directors presented Chamber Chair Ken Kurtis with the mock check (and a real one as well):​ AVDD is a great example of what dedication to supporting our Chamber looks like. And rest assured that every donation, whether its ten dollars or ten thousand dollars or anything in-between, will be put to good use. Who’s next??? Who will push us past $30,000?
