We made it past $15,000 and are head towards $20,000. Who will help us push past that mark?
We start today’s update off with a generous contribution but a sad story behind it. Dr. Susy Horowitz has seen a number of her diving friends pass this year, and has made a $5,000 contribution in their memory. Her donation honors Leslie Holtman, Ron Riddle, Greg Tashjian, and Paul Kanner, divers who represented many facets of our diving community. While we appreciate Dr. Susy’s gift, we mourn along with her for the reason behind it.
At the Gold level, longtime Chamber supporter and industry icon Jeanne Sleeper has once again bestowed upon us a $1,000 donation that will help keep our Chamber strong.
And at the $500 Silver level, we have two Marks: Mark Chambers and Mark Staab. Their donations certainly “mark” a belief in the work that our Chamber does.
We’re still early in the game but off to a good start. However, there’s a long way to go until the finish line. Also remember that this is our Chamber’s 50th anniversary and we’d like to make the Challenge this year incredibly special and successful. We can do it when you choose to get involved and make a contribution.
