And the Oscar goes to . . .
If we were handing out awards, everyone on this list would get one. We start with three on the Gold level.
First up is longtime supporter Jeanne Sleeper who has been involved in this industry for quite some time in various aspects and truly understands the need and value for a hyperbaric chamber when things go wrong. We also have Allison Vitsky Sallmon & Andy Sallmon making a joint donation in memory of photo/video wiz Chuck Nicklin, who left us this past December. And their gift will be matched by Pfizer, who has a corporate matching grant program. So this is a good reminder that you can make a donation in someone’s memory, and that many companies have matching grant programs to double the value of your donation to our Chamber.
On the Silver level, we have another “in memory” donation, this time from Dr. Susy Horowitz remembering her good friend Ollie Harris. And we have a second contribution from regular donor James Whipple.
We also have a number of new Bronze-level donations as well.
While today is the day that the motion picture industry celebrates itself, we as a diving community take March and April, as well as the first few days in May, to celebrate our Chamber. And you mark that celebration by making a donation, as well as participating in the other aspects of Chamber Day 2023. We’re off to a good start, but we’ve got a ways to go. So . . .
