CHAMBER CHALLENGE 2025 - UPDATE #3
($16,800 as of 3/22 @ 5:00AM)
We’re almost at $17,000. Who will shoot us past that mark?
I’m leaving Easter Island this morning but wanted to update you before we start traveling. And yes, I keep an eye on all things Chamber Day while I’m away. I had hoped we’d be a little further along at this point but we’ve still got time to pick up the pace.
We start off today with a very generous $1,000 donation from Barbara Allen in memory of Roger Hess. Roger was the owner/captain of Charisma Charters and I often refer to him as the father of Chamber Day because he’s the one who first came up with the idea for the event back in the late 80s when it seemed like losing L.A. County funding was imminent. So it’s quite nice to see Barbara honor his memory with her donation.
In Southern California, our Chamber is available 24/7/365. Depending on where you are diving, we can get you in the Chamber and get treatment started quickly, and sometimes even in less than an hour? Think that makes a difference in the resolution of your symptoms? You bet it does. Think that’s worth supporting financially? You bet it is.
And that’s why we come to you annually and ask for your help. Not all places in the world are as fortunate as we are in terms of Chamber access and availability. And your donations – whether that’s to be on a boat, join us for Chamber Eve, or donate to the Challenge – make a huge difference.
So how about you? What’s your motivation to donate? Everything helps and while we started strong, we seem to have hit a plateau and need to rebuild the momentum. Let’s add YOUR name to our list.
