We are pleased to tell you that we've passed the $35K mark and are currently at $35,335 in the Chamber Challenge. But we've got a ways to go and not a lot of time in which to do it. last week was understandably slow with Tax Day being last Monday but with that behind us - and only a little more than a week until Chamber Day 2016 (Wednesday, May 4) - we've got some work to do.

We are led this time by a trio of Silver ($500) donors. First up is Rex Uber who's not only an active diver in our local waters, but also is a longtime friend of the Chamber and understands how important it is for both his safety and the safety of those he dives with, to make sure our Chamber stays strong. Following him is Jim Krasne, who's almost the counterpoint to Rex. Jim used to dive a lot locally but as his workload has increased over the past years, he simply doesn't get a chance to do it anymore. But he still knows how vital the Chamber is for all divers, and every year, he responds to our call. Lastly, Ocean Adventures and Reef Seekers (both Steve Ladd & Ken Kurtis - who own the two entities - play key roles in running the event) had teamed up for a joint Silver donation.

While time is growing short, we're not out of time. And it seems each year, many of you like to wait until we get closer and closer to give us that final push. Well, push away!!!! Our next Challenge benchmark is $40K and we can't do it without you. Who's next?????
