Chamber Day

We passed $20,000!!!
I spoke last night at the monthly meeting of the Antelope Valley Desert Divers in Palmdale and they started off by presenting a check for $1,000 for the Chamber Challenge. And that outs us past $20,000 so far. Yahoo!!!
AVDD has been a longtime staunch support of Chamber Day (they also have a table at Chamber Evening) and they dedication to this event underscores the importance of dive clubs in helping make the event a success. if your club has even 20 members, if each of those members pledges $50, that equals a club Challenge donation of $1,000.
So whether you're an independent club or one affiliated directly with a dive shop, give some thought to polling your membership about making a collective Chamber Challenge donation. We've got a long ways to go and three weeks until the actual event so there's time to marshal our forces.
So who's next? Who will help keep this thing going?
