[CHAMBER DAY & EVE 2012 - WEDNESDAY, MAY 2 - SAVE THE DATE!!!]
Perhaps Friday the 13th is really our lucky day because it's been a busy week
and I'm delighted to tell you that we've passed $25,000 in the Challenge!!!
We start off with a generous $1000 Gold sponsor pledge from longtime
supporter Robert Wagner. This is not the actor but one of our reef seekers
divers who has for years supported our Chamber, even though he doesn't do much
cold-water diving anymore. but Robert understands that our Chamber needs to be
there to help his friends who do still dive SoCal and he's willing to pony up
for that reason.
We've also got a pair of new $500 Silver sponsors in the form of
Hollywoodivers and Rebecca Jackrel. Both have been longtime supporters of our
Chamber, Hollywoodivers as a very active LA-based dive shop and Rebecca from her
home in San Francisco. And they go to show what a geographically diverse group
we are.
We also got a number of $100 donors, including three that are tagged in
memory of Roger Hess, founder of Charisma Charters and "father" of Chamber Day
(it was his idea back in 1989).
And it all goes to show how all donations, or any amount, help keep our
Chamber strong. Can we make Friday the 13th our lucky day? Will YOU help? Go to
