CHAMBER CHALLENGE 2011 - UPDATE #9 - $42,698 (posted 4/21 - last updated 4/13)

Less than two weeks to go and it seems that $50,000 is within reach . . .

We lead off with the Herndon family (owners of Scuba.com) making a SECOND $1000 donation (the first in the name of the company) in Mark Tulin's name. We're glad that Mark was able to touch their lives (as he did many of us in the SoCal diving community) and that they're willing to respond in such a generous fashion.

We also want to acknowledge another Silver Sponsor ($500) in the form of longtime supporter James Whipple, who wrote a note to Karl with his donation that read: "How are things going?" The answer is: Much better with your donation, James.

We're inside of two weeks and we know that many of you wait until we get to the end to make your donation. Well, we're getting to the end. And, as mentioned above, it certainly seems as if $50,000 is within reach but we can ONLY do it with your help. And remember, you donation helps you, your fellow diver, and maybe someone sitting next to you on your next boat trip.

So who's next??? Who will help push us past $43,000?
