CHAMBER CHALLENGE 2011 - UPDATE #12 - $50,118 (posted 5/3 - last updated 4/30)
We've passed $50,000 !!! Wow!!!! And some big donations definitely gave us that needed extra push.
We start off two Gold sponsors, the first from the dive boat Magician and Captain Jerry Lewis. Jerry had said a few weeks ago that he would give $10 for each additional diver who signed up for Ch-Day and then decided just to make it an even $1000. And dive clubs are getting in the act as the members of the PCH Scuba diving community pooled their money (all Facebook-driven) with a $1070 donation.
In addition, we've got $500 Silver donations from longtime supporter Rebecca Jackrel as well as one from chamber crew member Elaine Jobin. Elaine's was in memory of Mark Tulin.
So we're a day away but there's no need to stop now. Who's next??? Who will help in the final push?
