Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d get to write this sentence: We just passed $40,000 in the Chamber Challenge. Simply amazing. And we’ve still got a week to go until Chamber Day/Eve 2008.

We start off by thanking our newest Silver level sponsor, Anthony Brown. He took an ERD class at our Chamber in 2007 and really understands the importance of keeping the Chamber healthy. We also note that the DiveVets, who previously pledged $1500, have increased that to $1700 on their website. So we can include that additional amount now.

But let’s not stop here. We’ve got 7 days to go but the Chamber operates 365 days a year (366 this year, since it’s a Leap Year). And don’t lose sight of the fact that your donations not only help the Chamber run, but also help with outreach and diver education programs. And when you consider that we’ve gotten a relatively large number of treatments in the first quarter of this year, it underscores the need and importance of getting good info about diver safety out to the community.

At the risk of sounding greedy or overly-optimistic, we’ve got a shot at $45,000 But we can’t do it without you. So whaddya say? Who’s next?? Who willing to support your Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber???
