Just wanted to post this cause I'm pretty excited. I am now a certified Open Water diver! Passed the certs on Saturday, then spent Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon diving. What an excellent trip we had! Epcot was amazing (working on pulling pics out of the video) and the Ft Lauderdale reefs were excellent as well. My new avatar was taken near the reef in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

Now it's to work on getting some more dives in and getting certified advanced, which I'm taking this quarter!

Congratulations. I'd strongly suggest to do more dives before moving on, get some experience and comfort at this level. Don't rush it. Do 30-50 dives or so and then continue on to advanced.

Good for you! Now update your profile:D

Congratulations on your new hobby and welcome to ScubaBoard.

Congratulations! :partytime:

Congrats and dive whenever and whereever you can.

Hint: Join a dive club, so you can find experienced people in your area to dive with and learn from.

Job well done I am betting....have fun now and enjoy your new sport!

PS-- now you can update your SB bio information. :)

Congrats and welcome to the board and the best sport ever! Also the nicest, coolest people around. Different religions, political backgrounds it don't matter. Divers flock together.

Congrats, may your dives be safe and plentiful.
