Hi, I'm a Great Lakes diver from Canada and I'm taking the family to Orlando next week. I've dove the Keys several times and loved the fish. Like to take the kids snorkeling and maybe get them motivated to get certified. Any recommended beaches? What about this Vero, Coco Beach or Fort Pierce for seeing fish?

You can snorkel south of Sebastian Inlet (Wabasso), but it's hit or miss. Some days the water is OK (10-30' vis), then other days... well... (1-2') The further south you go, the better it gets. I like diving Ft Pierce, but then again... it's hit or miss. Lauderdale by the Sea is probably the best place to go...
