Just sharing some info I find very cool.
Cocom is the name of an ancient Mayan family and dynasty who ruled the Yucatan Peninsula before 1440 A.D.
Today, one of the living members of the Cocom Family owns a property near Playa del Carmen, where there is a cenote with a diveable cave.
Below you will find a link to a few videos as well as links to a book and a scientific article about the Cocom Family.
