Our local dive group the Midcoast Maine Aqua-Nuts recently helped the Belfast schools celebrate World Oceans Day with a scuba equipment display. We even had some marine specimens in a touch tank and some Minke whale bone vertebrae from a carcass the Belfast Marine Institute is currently preserving. Lots of energy, lots of good questions and hopefully planted some seeds of interest for lots of future divers.
