___________________________________________________________________

The NSS-CDS "Okaying the lines" program is composed of several volunteer members of the CDS to keep their eyes & ears open regarding the safety of our caves. The individuals below have accepted responsibility to pay particular attention to specific cave systems in terms of safety. These volunteers will look for, and listen to you for problems with lines, signage, markers and any other issues that may arise in or around the caves they are watching over. If you see safety problems in one of the caves please contact the people who have volunteered for that cave system, or contact the NSS-CDS safety coordinator Jim Wyatt via e-mail at SafetyOfficer@nsscds.org or by phone 352-363-0013.

We also have a safety officer forum where you can post problems or concerns, and you can discuss general safety issues. This forum can be found at: NSS-CDS Forums

Please realize this list is a work in progress and will have frequent additions and changes to it as required as we add new caves and new volunteers.

There are other members of the CDS safety committee who have not yet identified the caves they would like to pay particular attention to. If you would like to volunteer for a particular cave system to watch over please contact Jim Wyatt via e-mail or a phone call at 352-363-0013.
