Might still be too cold for some, but I'll be diving (dry). Probably get there about 11am or so. Anybody else plan on going? Plan to dial in the new strobe I got for my camera before heading to Grand Cayman next Saturday, so if there's anyone who wants to vogue . . . . :D

Sorry Franco, too cold for me. I'll be back when the water temp hit the mid 50's
Hiya Rick! Yep, the water was chilly Saturday for sure @ about 48° top to bottom. Air temps in the 70's though. However, I wasn't the only person there (as I had expected). There was a group of about 8 OW students with I & DM. The students were in wetsuits! Can't imagine doing mask skills in those water temps! Students are by the opposite dock, in the water, in the attached pic.

Lost a glove while putting them on in the water and spent my dive, 30 mins, looking for it. When I couldn't feel my left hand any longer, I ended the search. After getting my gear off, I went for a little look along the waters edge and there my glove was floating :shocked2: Well, that let me do a 2nd dive, 45 mins only, cause after that I was chilled. Anyway like I said, water temp = 48°, viz = 5' & cloudy.

See you when the water warms up a bit then. Any idea what month that is?

Franco

Francousteau, in Texas we have weather that changes on a dime! Don't like one days weather....just wait for it to change, will not be long in most cases. LOL Last weekend when I dove CSSP on Sunday, we just had a few divers in the pond. My Dive Rite's both recorded water temps of 45F. Great photo. :)
