I am going to spend a week diving on a friend's boat/yacht in The Caymans in May '06. What I would like to know is does anyone know of where/how I can get my hands on the Lat/Lon (GPS coordinates) of Cayman dive sites/mooring cans? We're probably going to hit all three islands but will probably spend most of our time diving around Grand Cayman. I'm able to find plenty of info about specific dive sites in The Caymans from all the dive guides but not their exact locations.
Also, are there any restrictions as to who can use these moorings? I'm noticing some sites are listed as "Public Moorings". What's up with that? Are there certain moorings that we can or can't use? I know the whole point of the moorings is to keep anchors and chains off the bottom (reefs).
Any info or links anyone might have as to successfull boating in the Caymans would be greatly appreciated.
