Cayman Brac is the Greatest

I really like Cayman Brac. Grand Cayman is soooo comercial. You get to the Brac and it is just you your friends and family and Great Diving. The tunnels and the walls are spectacular. With close access to Little Cayman it makes it even more a plus. The hurricaine a few years back beat them up a little but they are coming back strong. Below is a video I shot. You can see what the hurricaine did to the "Tibbets". The marine life is more resilient however and is now flourishing.

I stay at Divi. I really like the feel of the place and the dive operation is outstanding. I have always liked Divi even in Bonaire. They have 2 big Nektons. A great dive platform in my opinion. Fppf has a point. The highlight of the trip is always the dives at Little Cayman but I have no experience with accomodations or dive operations so I cannot say. One thing for sure, a trip to the Caymans....Little or Brac will be outstanding!

Just go to Little Cayman.

I've been to Little Cayman and it has some of the best diving in the Caribbean. But don't "dis" the Brac. There are areas that plenty rival BloodyBay if you know where they are. The Brac has alot more to do topside. If you know where to get airfills it's alot easier to access shore diving than LC. I have really enjoyed the Brac, the diving is outstanding, it's quiet, there are a few restaurants, there are a few stores, there are caves, there is the Bluuf and all the hiking trails, LC has none of this. Although LC has the best diving overall of the 3 Islands, the Brac is close

Wow..I am shocked. I was just there less than a year ago. Late April 2006. The occupency was high and everything seemed fine. What a gorgeous property to be vacant. Well Brac Reef it is I guess!

We dont do much top side, eat, sleep, dive, repeat.
The place we stayed they would give you all the air fills you wanted. You just needed to get to the other side of the island to get wet.

The Divi used to be the main source, now that's done. The Brac Reef used to give tanks for shore diving but now that they are a monoply, theyve decided they are too busy. Craig who just started a dive biz. at the Divi is the current source, especially if you own a condo on the island.
