I specifically seeked and ordered an Aqualung comfo-bite from Scubadelphia. Photo on their webpage showed 'Made in France' on one side. Even the description stated proprietary 'Aqualung' etc. verbiage.
They sent me an Apeks comfo-bite. Not what I wanted. They're not the same.
Caveat emptor.

Do get them to fix it or refute the charges on the credit card?
Yea, they did good on their part. They reached out to me this morning, and sent a correct 'replacement'. They said they had no idea how this happened. I told them I would be happy to re-utilize their services in the future.

Still confused. The guideline of caveat emptor is that the buyer is responsible for checking the goods before buying. That is not something that can be done with online purchases. What you did was hold the seller accountable after the sale, which sounds like they were more than happy to have happen.

This is more “check the stuff you buy after you receive it to make sure it’s correct, then let the seller know if it’s not”. Sorry, I don’t know the Latin for that.

I agree. Also, the caveat emptor was more for letting others know that it could happen to them, with said outfit. I just figured res ipsa loquitor. But, I guess not.

Silly. They made a mistake, you caught it, they corrected it. Your post should have been titled "Kudos" rather than something that implies they tried to screw you.

I'm glad that the minor mix-up was resolved. I've had several good experiences purchasing from & doing refreshers with Scubadelphia.

In future, perhaps pause prompt posting pending any response from the vendor, and just start a thread when the issue is over (positive or negative).
