I did a short dive at Cave Run on Sunday. It was MURKY! Vis. was about 5 ft. if that. I only went to about 10 ft...I was basically just messing around in some shallows around some trees. I think the max. depth was only about 15 ft...I'm really not sure...below 10ft. it got reeeaaally mucked up. I reached my fins down into the darkness and hit what felt like mud and tree stumps, but I couldn't see squat. Water temp. was nice and cozy.

I only saw one bluegill and one baby striped bass while under, but we saw some HUGE fish skimming along the surface.

a Carnico dive:D Where did you dive at on Cave Run?

Would you be interested in looking for the sunken sail boat near the marina across from the dam?

I couldn't tell you the exact spot...we rented a john boat and just picked a little slue somewhere around the left hand side of the marina.

the name of the marina?

Scott's Creek Marina...is that the same one you're talking about for the sunken sailboat???
