Has anyone ever been into the cave on Norfork Lake in Arkansas? I see it mentioned on several websites as a dive spot but I can find any info from people who have dived it. Would love to see photos and or video if its out there.

I have not been there, but did find a (very) little info. The cave mouth is, reportedly, just below the water surface and runs back 100 feet to a large room before narrowing.

It is located at the #4 dive site (towards the upper right hand of the map).

I will update if I can get any more info.

Yeah, I saw all that. Thanks though! Me and some buddies are organizing a trip down there next month. I'll have to see if I can find it.

Depending on lake level, the mouth is above the water, immediately below the surface, up to 30 or so feet down. The current lake level is 569, so that should put the mouth around 15 to 20 feet down if I were to guess.

Have you been in it?

Following up on this. Has anyone done this cave?

Did it 25 years ago in backmount. Kind of a silty big room with a small passage off to the left that pinches off. We came out in a cloud of silt. That cave should not be on the dive site map...an accident waiting to happen.
