So, who finally told him he was Doing It Wrong?
After my last trip to Mexico I decided to replace the Petzl I'd been using, mainly because it sat too high above the crown of my head. I went with the Light Monkey helmet, with Rat Jr. back-up lights and the clip from the Goodman handle for my 12W LED primary. I need a L/XL hood, depending on the brand, so I ended up removing the size adjustment part of the suspension completely. Looking forward to the next visit in November to try it out.
(The left hand Rat is aimed upwards a little in the pictures, but looking at it just now, it isn't. Lying on the floor, head up, they all seem to be aimed more or less OK.)
I find that I don't like the primary on the helmet unless I'm stowing it temporarily for some reason--it's easier to keep it still in my hand.
