Cave & Cavern Diving in the Bahamas-Getting there from Ft. Lauderdale

Was wondering where the best cavern & cave diving is in the Bahamas without having to travel to a very out of the way island?

I have heard that Grand Bahama and especially Abacos have very good locations. Any other suggestions?

Also, who flies there from Ft. Lauderdale?

Continental airlines we flew over on. Also from Ft Lauderdale there is another option, Discovery Cruise Line - Bahamas Cruise - Official Site - The Best Deals to the Bahamas - Bahamas Party Cruise and Vacations a ship. It runs daily. Did Not do any caves when we were there.
