Was doing some research and see that there are Cave/Cavern Diving areas in the Dominican Republic not too far from the Airport in Santo Domingo (45 mins).

Towns like Juan Dolio, Romana etc. Was wondering if anyone has been to those regions and can offer feedback on the diving there?

Am not interested in "all inclusive tourist zoo hotels" so any hotel recommendations will be appreciated.
