Catalina March 18 or 19 ?

I'm going to be in Burbank and wanted to dive Catalina March 18th or 19th which is a tuesday or wednsday. It looks like the Charters only go out on weekends. Anyone know of a Charter going out on these days?

you could also take the Catalina Express // Daily Trips To Catalina Island over and dive from casino point (shore diving at Avalon). I am sure there is somebody who is game for a weekday dive.

According to California Diving News : Dive Boat Directory the Peace Dive Boat Special Trips is going for a 2 day cruise out of Ventura which should be a great trip on a great boat. Ventura is also closer to Burbank and the diving is probably (really) better than catalina.

I'd have to agree with Cody except for:

I think Ventura is about 65-70 miles, and Long Beach is about 30-35 miles. Given LA traffic, they are probably the same time to travel though.

I shouldn't have made any reference to Burbank. In all honesty I don't think I could find it in my car, only by plane. It sure seems closer to me but who knows... Ventura would be worth the drive though!
