Hi all, this past weekend was a great couple of days at Catalina Island on the Great Escape.
Some bugs were caught; some of the divers saw the some Giant Black Sea Bass. Visibility around the Isthmus was very good and at Eagle Reef there were large schools of anchovies being chased by schools of Barracuda too.
We have another Catalina Open Boat on the Great Escape on November 7th. This trip is all inclusive at a great price of $115. That price includes 3 dives, 3000 psi air fills, breakfast, snacks (our world famous Monkey Bread), lunch, and all non alcoholic drinks. Feel free to bunk overnight on the boat prior if that is convenient. Parking is free.
The Great Escape is the largest boat in the LA / Long Beach harbor basin at 85' long.
We have bunks, staterooms, a full sit down galley, 2 heads, hot fresh water showers, a camera assembly station, fresh water rinse tanks and lots of fun.
