Where is the best resource for finding a rental in Avalon for a few days in December?

Actually was looking for a house for maybe 6 adults. There will be some diving but the main purpose of the trip is for a grand prix motorcycle race happening on Dec 3rd and 4th. I figuring I might as well make a little vacation out of it. Dive during the week and then race on the weekend.

Hamilton Cove is a condo development just outside of Avalon that might work for you. There are at least two online sties that handle the rentals.

Hamilton Cove is a condo development just outside of Avalon that might work for you. There are at least two online sties that handle the rentals.

It is a very nice development, many of the units have great views. I stayed there last year, the unit was roomy and upscale.

The location outside of town is a mixed blessing. Most units include use of a golf cart (the defacto mode of motorized transport on the island). This makes diving easy (just zip down to Casino Point, about 5 minutes down the road) and getting to/from town, but most of the carts only hold 4 people. That makes logistics interesting if you have a party of 6.
