I hope Lynne and Peter had a good time at Catalinas Dive Park.
I was out with Catalina Divers Supply on their Scuba Cat last Saturday. Wow was it great! We dived the West Quarry first and I got a quick look at the illusive Scythe Butterflyfish!
The vis was an easy 60 with almost perfect blue waters.
Our next dive was a drift dive at Blue Cavern Point. Almost no current and better vis! Here we again met a pair of the butterflys.
I just wanted to mention Ron Moore, our dive master. He did a great job for my lovely bride and I. Thanks again to him and to the friendly staff at CDS!
I hope the conditions at Catalina continue like last Saturday. If they do, Avalon will recover so fast you wont believe it!
