Just an FYI, The dive park in Avalon will be closed Thursday May 25, until around noon. there will be no access to the park and no diving allowed while they use a helicopter to replace the flagpole in the parking lot.
That will be a good day to go out on one of the boats, or just plan on a late start. Another possible option might be to dive the west side of Descanso beach but you will have to check in with the harbor dept. beforehand.
