Can't miss my wife and I..we're the one with the 6 month old wee lad around us somewhere. I should have a white table w/a beach umbrella set up out there to and wearing my signature floppy beach hat :)

If you see a red jeep cherokee with a heart dive flag on the back window (is my wifes jeep, my manly truck has a FL shaped one) and ronjon sticker, we're there! Will look for you!

Harvo, unfortunately I can't make it this weekend. :( . I love Venice beach, and go there about every weekend. I've found as many as 254 teeth there on one dive! The water lately there has been really clear (10'-15'+), and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you guys tomorrow.

I went to the beach, but did not go diving the conditions were bad. Rough surf we beating acouple people up.

I will have to make it back up there. The area is a great place to go.

I did one dive and came out feeling like I had just been in a clothing dryer. I was down at about 18' and was still being pushed around by the wake. The waves were brutal on the way out. several people including me lost equiptment. Had it not been for 8buck my fins would be gone. All that and I only happened across 1 measley lemon shark tooth.

But we had so much fun today I'm going back on sunday. Several boarders stayed over and are doing the same. walter will be back and as usual he found a lot of teeth, including a Meg I was told.

The Margarita Queen Wendy behaved herself at least until I left. I was thinking we may have had to change her name to "Wild Wendy"

Wildbill :D

I wish luck to whomever is willing to brave what the radar is showing me at the moment. Just north of Ft Myers is an orange and yellow band with intermixed orange and yellows in the green belt that is covering from FMY to TPA and across the state in to the north east. Ya'll have truely earned the wild title!

I got to thinking about that red tide stuff yesterday on the drive home and recalled a website that I visit on occaision (research, etc.) and seeing a link for current red tide conditions.. thought I'd share as something of a good reference tool to peek for upcoming dives. After the second coming of the rains and shortly after our departure, I asked Kris to pull over at a gas station so I could wash my face and hands... Mike had said it best when he stated "I feel like I've been maced!".. Here's the link for anyone interested:

I know right when I got out of my car I could feel it when I was breathing. Then later in the day my eyes were on fire.

I thought is may have been from lack of sleep, once I got in the car it went away.

I had a great time anyways. I'll have to check out that link.

Cbulla- we will have to get out and dive.
