Casperson Beach (Shipwreck)

I have a Paper chart that shows a shipwreck right off of Casperson Beach does anyone have any information on it???

How far out is it? I'd be happy to ask around. I'm headed up that way today.

From the map it looks like it would be just south of casperson beach and about 300 yard out. The map does not have any GPS Grids.

Reefguy= did you find out any info. on the wreck off of Casperson Beach?

Thats the south end of Venice Beach right? I'll ask around and see what I can find out. Would you like to dive it? Thats not to far a drive for me if you need a buddy.

I went up that way this past weekend (dove the alhambra spot), and spoke with a couple of locals I've seen there before. They didn't know anything about it. I'll try to remember to call Florida West Scuba tomorrow and ask (no promises though, I'm doing a software release tomorrow).

If visibility is clear tomorrow, I'll take a walk down the beach through the casperson area and swim out and peek around.

I just packed my gear for tomorrow. I'll try and get there around 9:30 or 10am.

I'll be wearing green trunks and have a black polo hat. I drive a red GMC Jimmy or a White Hyndia (which ever the wife lets me take)
