If that "US Citizen" is still in Communist Cuba you may have a problem. If he's out and about, just about any of the good suggestions already posted here will work just fine. Regards,

As a citizen of the free world I have no trouble getting funds in and out of Cuba - bank charges apply though.

However he's safe home and since I don't want interest (he offered me 100% on top of the loan) he made a donation to a US eye charity (Prevent Blindness America) so everyone's happy.

I'm pursuing the Paypal option at the mo. - completely forgotton I had a PP account... <8^S

FYI - The Paypal route didn't work, he got the message:

"Money transmission regulations currently forbid the transmission of
quasi-cash payments to International recipients. Payments are only allowed
for auctions, goods, and services."

Waste of time, now pursuing the Western Union route from here in FLL.

another one is that paypal is not a offical FDIC institution that isnt insured, plus i have plenty of not nice things to say about them and there are others to, just go to paypalsucks.com and read the stories. phaethon see if this guy can set up a international wire transfer to you, should only cost a couple of dollars but it should get it to you.

FWIW
