I would like to know what you all suggest for a travel case for a camrea setup that inlcudes a Canon Digital Rebel XT, an Ikelite housing, a DS125 Ikelite strobe, and arm. Obviously my preference would be to carry it on the plane with me but I have been told that there are no cases deep enough for the Ikelite housing that are carry-on legal. What are your suggestions.

thanks in advance for your advice.

Bill

I would recommend the pelican 1510...that's what i have/use and carry on the plane with no problems..they are great...padded good and has wheels and handle to pull. and they are cheap.

by the way a friend of mine has an ikelite housing for his camera and he uses the same pelican that i do and his fits good.

I have been told that the 1510 is not deep enough and that when you close the 1510's lid it puts pressure on the housing's latches that secure the port to the housing that could eventually break them.

Again a friend of mine uses that one for his ikelite and 2 strobes etc. and his is fine with no pressure.
