Hi,

My husband and I will also be on the Caribbean Explorer that week. We are going to fly over on Fri. (hopefully we will make our tight connection in Miami) and stay at the Club Peace and Plenty. We were going to be on the Turks & Caicos liveaboard in March, but the driveshaft broke and we had to do a landbased operation instead. So we have our fingers crossed for this trip.

It was nice hearing that other scubaboard members were going to be with us that week. We will look forward to meeting you.

Hey! My buddy & I are staying there Fri. also! Perhaps we can meet up & have dinner or something. I can't wait to meet everyone. Feel free to PM me if you'd like.

I have a trip planned myself on June 23rd. I have not been on this particular boat but I have been on the Turks and Caicos and the Carb Explorer II. It is the greatest bunch of people that run these boats. You will get some great diving, and great food, and you will have a wonderful time. The diving is just the easiest you will ever do!
Diving on a liveaboard will spoil you and you wont want to do anything else!
It is so easy and so much that you are getting the most for your money!
Have a great time on your trip!

Hi,

May 11th cannot get here fast enough. We start packing next weekend. We had the T&C group over last night for a post trip party. Even though we had a good time land based we all agreed that we wish we could have been on the liveaboard (driveshaft broke right before our trip and had to be rescheduled for land). That cannot happen twice in a row, right?

I hope it doesn't too:11: . No bad thoughts, now;) . I'm sure everything will work out fine. Just the nail biting journey there. I'll keep the weekly count down going for every one's entrainment:D  .

I spoke to one of the crew members and they mentioned that the week that I was on the Carib Explorer was almost cancelled due to a faulty water pump. I was so glad it did not get cancelled. The crew worked to get an alternative solution so the desalination process worked. They want to be on the boat working just as much as you do diving. Not to worry. You should have a lovely trip.
