I would say most of the dives started at about 40 feet, especially at san salvador. Shallower dives at conception. If memory serves me correct my average depth was running about 55 feet. Not sure what the computer takes into account but I did a lot of dives where my depth was 80+. I did one dive to 123. We dropped down through a cave like opening on top of the reef. Started at about 70 feet, straight down and then a 90 degree turn that dumped us out on the wall at 120+. Did not stay at that depth for more than a couple of minutes. I had actually exceeded my maximum depth of 110 but I was still within my contingency.

If you are looking for conservative dive depths you can just stay on the reef at 50 to 70 feet.

Thanks sounds great. The boys have done som quarry diving so this will be new to them. I will try to keep them a liitle shalower till I get comfortable with them. Should be a lot of fun.
