Thanks for posting that.

He was an inspiration to every one who knew his story and especially to those of us that dive. I just wish the article had included a photo of the man.

Calm seas and warm breezes Carl.

:salute:

An inspiration to all of us.

He was a great diver and an incredible man.
We have lost a true hero.

RIP Carl

He will be missed.

Master Chief Brashear was, and is, one of the Good Guys. A true American hero; may he rest in peace, and continue as an inspiration to his fellow Americans.

Rest peacefully old friend. The honor and pride you brought to the Navy will never be forgotten. Your memory will live forever through every diver who allows their sould to become united with the sea. Watch over your loved ones as only you know how, may they never fall prey to the tribulations you had endured.

Truly, he was someone who exemplified determination and courage. The kind of person that you can point to and say to your kids "See, anything is possible if you are willing to try hard enough."

Calm seas and unlimited vis, and thank you, Mr Brashear.

My dive flag flies at half mast.
May St. Peter accept Master Chief Brashear into his fold.
